One of the question most common question people ask is what size neckrope they need. To make sure to get a perfectly fitting neckrope I thought that It would be a good idea to write a blog article about this. want to know how to get a perfectly fitting neckrope, keep on reading.
What do you need:
- a leadrope
- measuring tape
- a horse ;)
Get your leadrope and wrap it around your horses neck. Make sure it looks more or less as the horse down below.
take the leadrope of the horses neck and lay it on the ground. Put your measuring tape next to it and make sure to meaure the entire pard of the leadrope that was around your horses neck.
According to your leadrope and measuring tape your horses neck is 147cm/57,8 inch. The next thing you do is looking in the measuring chart (down below)
|extra mini||100 cm||40 inch|
|mini||110 cm||43 inch|
|shet||120 cm||47 inch|
|pony||135 cm||53 inch|
|cob||150 cm||59 inch|
|165 cm||65 inch|
|extra full||175 cm||69 inch|
You look in the Measuring chart that 147cm/57,8inch is closes to the size cob. So when you order it would be best to choose size cob.
